He also gave the Hungarian domestic premiere of Nino Rota’s first cello concerto and played chamber music with famous artists at international festivals.

          The internationally recognized cello-piano duo of Csabay Domonkos and Hartmann Domonkos enjoys success Europe-wide. They got awarded two first prizes and the audience prize at the international chamber music competitions in Lyon and Birmingham. They recently made their debut at the Wigmore Hall in London in 2024, with their first album now being produced by Resonus Classics (UK).

     Quartet

        The Motus Quartet, founded in 2022, is currently studying with Johannes Meissl at the mdw in Vienna. First Prize and special winners of the Joseph Joachim Competition in Weimar. They made their debut in halls such as the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Wiener Musikverein and Konzerthaus. The current members are Tim de Vries, Karla Križ violin, Erin Pitts viola and Domonkos Hartmann cello.

         Since 2007, the Prima Primissima foundation has been supporting budding artists under the age of 30. The recognition goes to young people who show outstanding results, “who are the best among the good ones”. Domonkos received the award in 2022.
